A student of Lean for years, the concepts and terms of hoshin have long been a mystery to me. This book is the most clear, compelling and useful delineation of hoshin I’ve ever seen. Through stories, templates and examples Reich conveys how to build and use hoshin kanri, along with the interaction of hoshin with other Lean systems (problem solving and daily management). I immediately chose a “model line” for hoshin and drafted a plan to get started the day I finished the book. Thank you to Mark and LEI. This book is a HUGE step forward for my organization and the field!
